May Updates

We hope everyone is staying safe during this national crisis and is looking forward to coming out strong when things start to open back up.  Here at 1RISK we’ve been busy using this time to strengthen and improve our product offering.  Below is an update on what exactly we’ve been doing and what you can expect for the coming year.

Workplace Management Software – Release Date Announced
On June 1st, 1RISK will release its Workplace Management Software, otherwise known as Learning Management Software or eLearning.  This new software will allow operations of any size to develop training courses for any department and then notify staff members of training required and track progress.


Data Privacy and Compliance – Coming Soon! 
1RISK has been working for several months to respond to the growing need and concern of Data Privacy and Compliance in regard to our ever-expanding business globally.  We are in the middle stages of providing the privacy and compliance documentation to allow our public-facing software to have the plans and procedures in place.  Specific initiatives include GDPR, CCPA & PIPEDA.


Updated User Interface (UI) of Dispatch Management – Coming Soon!
We will be striving to release a new UI for Dispatch Management going into the winter ski season.  This new version will include:  

  • Increased Performance and Application Response time.
  • New User Interface for Lifts, Trails Status, Park Status and data logging to be more intuitive and have a cleaner design.
  • New Reporting data matrix to accompany the UI changes.

Resort Technology Partners (RTP) POS Integration – Coming Soon!
We continue to see new initiatives and requests for integration with new systems.  One of these includes the RTP (Resort Technology Partners) POS software.  We continue to see many resorts and operations using RTP as their main POS software, so we are working with them to provide a system of record for Digital Waiver Management.


Accesso Siriusware & Passport Integration Expansion – Coming Soon!
We will be expanding on our existing deep waiver integration with Accesso Siriusware and Passport to include a Rental/Tech Station component.  This will allow Rental & Tech Station data to be saved along with the Digital Waiver in the 1RISK system. 


Aspenware Integration Enhancements – Coming Soon!
We’ve also been working on adding additional integrations with another one of our partners, Aspenware, to include enhanced functionality such as: 

  • Support for 1RISK in the eCommerce checkout flow with sync to RTP (Resort Technology Partners)
  • Support for 1RISK in the eCommerce My Account configuration with sync to RTP
  • Support for 1RISK in Aspenware Resort Tools Self-Registration Kiosk and Guest Check-in with sync to RTP 
  • This integration would also then provide system of record for Digital Waivers under 1RISK.

1RISK Online Software Training – Coming Soon!
Starting with the release of our Workplace Management Software (WMS) in June, we will be showcasing several new training initiatives that will include 1RISK “How-To” videos within the WMS library available to any 1RISK client.

Another substantial initiative will be in-depth refresher sessions this Fall prior to starting up North American ski operations.  We suspect that some challenges of using Incident Tracking and Dispatch Management software are because of a lack of training refreshers for Ski Patrol operations before the season starts.  

Prior to the new season 1RISK typically releases many new features within the software. Knowing what these updates contain, goes unknown by a large percentage of resort staff, our hope is that by launching these new aspects we can help staff come up to speed quickly with the software components.
